I am Mo Davies, I’m 66, and I live on the north coast of North Cyprus, close to the historic port of Kyrenia (Girne). I live happily with my husband, four dogs and three cats with the Mediterranean five minutes to the north and the wonderful Besparmak Mountains just ten minutes of so to the south.
I was originally born in the UK, moved to Australia in 1972 where I lived for close to forty years (except for two in the UK from 2002-4), prior to moving to Cyprus to be closer to family in the UK.
I started creating art after I attended a mandala workshop in Queensland in 1966 and realised that symbolic work is my forte, not real life landscapes, portraits, and so on. My work has developed through mandala art, earth/goddess oriented art, to finally settling on digital and surreal art which I love.
